We produce several ranges of heraldic knights and soldiers of different periods of the medieval era. They are mostly of a nominal 54mm size and cast in various grades of white metal, including pewter, according to application. A great deal of attention is given to the accuracy of the armour and of course the heraldry. The titles indicate the period depicted, thus all the knights in the Crecy range took part in the campaign that culminated in that battle in 1346. Similarly the Poitiers range deals in circa 1356 and the Wars of the Roses figures are of the latter part of the conflict, roughly 1465 to 1485. The Tournament Knights range includes individuals from across the whole era, 12th to 15th centuries, arrayed for that activity. Many of the subjects in this range are taken from contemporary illustrations. |
